I started this blog as a way to organize some of my sons’ favorite recipes in one place. In the (unlikely) event I was hit by a bus one day, I didn’t want them to panic over ‘where is Mom’s Spanakopete recipe’ etc. We are a family of ‘foodies’. I love to cook and bake, and my sons grew up with really good food. Now, as adults, they love to cook too. Bake? Not so much
This isn’t a fancy, schmancy blog, with step by step photos of procedures and end results. Maybe one day, but not at the moment. What it is though, is a compilation of tried and true recipes that have been fine tuned and perfected over the years. You can count on these recipes to be reliable and good. But, as with any recipe, it’s not etched in stone, it’s a guideline. Feel free to make changes and make it your own if you wish.
